The Article went on to explain how two men in their early twenties were lying in wait for people who would be “Easy Targets” for their spree of mayhem. They would lurk in the parking lot of the factory merchant’s mall or inside the bathrooms of fast-food restaurants and wait for their Prey to arrive. Like predators on the Serengeti, they lie in wait, to pounce upon the weak and defenseless.

One 76 year old male victim was accosted in the rest-room at a busy Mc Donald’s restaurant and spent over two weeks in the critical care unit of our local hospital. The assailants beat this poor gentleman half to death for less than forty dollars. When they were finally arrested for their crimes there was no sense of guilt or remorse. These sorts of predators simply don’t care whose life and families they destroy in their quest for selfish gain!

Why do they feel that they must Beat their victims, instead of just robbing them?

1.       To take control (so you can’t run away).

2.       To accomplish their crime more quickly.

3.       To silence any Cries for Help.

4.       To allow them More Time to make a clean getaway.

    If I wait to build a website, or setup a blog post, I never seem to capture the motivation and I never get the same results that I get by instantly making small, short and simple Landing pages that I can analyze later. Words never seem to flow as easy, and other ideas will always compete for my minds attention, and I end up losing money because of it.

    When inspiration stikes, I will almost always start building those small, simple little landing pages by using a service that allows me to make as many of them as I want to, for less that $10 per month. For an Internet Marketer, having this capability is almost crucial. Compared to other advertising medium and resources, you get a huge Bang for your Buck with this service.

    I just finished popping off about 12 squeeze and landing pages for an inspiration that just struck me about an hour ago. I have already received about 50 views from one of them, and I expect to get about five to ten views per day from the worst ideas. That's a lot of exposure for only $10.

Many of my landing pages only took 5 to 10 minutes to establish, and they will be there for as long as I continue to pay for this service. If they are not effective, I can go back and edit, or fine tune, the advertisement, and it will continue to draw visitors right where it left off.

    This has been the proving ground for many of my ideas... If one really shows promise, I can build a web site or start a blog with the knowledge that I already have a money making idea.

"The Money is in the List" - As you study and learn more about Internet Marketing, you will see this phrase over and over again.

It is a proven fact that most people need to see your advertisement or promotion at least 5 to 7 times before you build their trust enough for them to buy something from you. The ability to email each of your contacts several times over a period of time will make you money but don't send a bunch of emails all ay once. Space them out to at least one every week or so, so people don't consider you a pest.

You should be consistently growing your list of friends and email contacts so that you can email them with affiliate offers. Don't Rush It! It takes time to build a good solid list. But once you have your Niche List, you can begin to market and advertise to that list.

While I am building Friends in Social Media, I also have a traditional Autoresponder to capture names and emails of people who are interested enough in one of my offers to join. This is an opt-in list, so that there is no confusion about whether your emails are Spam. People must authorize and allow you to send them emails and that is where a good autoresponder comes in.

Although paid autoreponders offer really great extras, There are a few good Free responders on the Internet that will get the job done for you when you are just starting out in Affiliate Marketing. Just search for "free autoresponders" to find one that works for you because some are more complex than others.

As a beginner, you don't yet need all the extra statistics and such, a Simple Free Reponder will work just fine.

Continue to build your Social Media and Email lists by building good Solid relationships and friendships with the people you will ultimately be promoting to.

Tip: Even when you are away from your computer, you can continue to build your contact list, if you have an iphone, blackberry or other Internet capable cell phone with a twitter or facebook ap.

The fastest way to build an email list is to make it Viral. Viral Marketing involves using methods that grow automatically once you have set them up. Finding Easy Niche Opportunities by observing the "Desires" (wants) of other people.

I have a friend that is an avid Stock Car Fan. And his favorite driver is Tony Stewart (#14)...

I could email my friend with an offer for almost any Affiliate Product having to do with Tony Stewart or his number, and he would most likely buy it! That is just how much of a serious "Fan" my friend is...

Of course, I would never take advantage of our friendship in order to sell something, but if I came across a product, on Sale, that I knew he "could not live without" (something he would greatly desire), I would send him an email about it. He would Happily buy the product and I would make a small commission. The most exciting part of this is the fact that there are thousands of other people Just Like my Friend, Die Hard, Nascar and Stock Car Fanatics, that you could target to refer and suggest affiliate products to. Simply build a website or blog that has Unique and Solid Content that Nascar Fans are searching for... and you instantly have a profitable Niche market to advertise to.

Finding Affiliate products for any Niche Market is as easy as searching for it. If I needed something to sell to hard-core Stock Car Fan's, I would simply browse my favorite search engine for it. An Example might be general like "affiliate stock car", or more specific like "affiliate products for Tony Stewart"... use your imagination, there are affiliate products and services for almost anything you need to advertise and promote to your Niche audience (from ebooks to bobble-heads).

Finding Niche Opportunities becomes Easier when we start focusing on the Needs and Desires of other people instead of becoming desperate about our own Selfish "Needs" and "Wants".

About Niches and Keywords

I wish I could say that Internet Marketing is like it was in the eighties and nineties, where you could just build a website and visitors would soon start coming. I wish I could say that you Marketing Insight and Intuition is enough to find targeted visitors who are looking for your product. But I can't say that.

You are going to have to learn about Niches and Keywords. A Niche is a select audience that you have chosen to advertise to. Keywords are how Targeted visitors find your site and also how the Search Engines Find and Display your site information. Finding a Niche and the right Keywords are essential to your marketing efforts.

Some people absolutely love the process of finding niche markets to prmote to. They get the same thrill as an angler does when they use the perfect type of bait to catch a certain species of fish. They like to spend a lot of time in research and analytics to spot trends, and they enjoy the process of seek and conquer.

I have never enjoyed this aspect of Internet Affiliate Marketing. I would like to get by on my intuition and logic. But that is impossible in a world full of websites and content. As I have shifted my marketing strategy toward Social Media, I am finding Niches more easily and adjusting my Keywords for that Niche. But whichever method works for you, your content must be unique and targeted to the audience you would like to advertise to.

Whether you decide to build a Blog as a landing page or a Web site Page (landing page), you will need to place your affiliate link into them in order to direct traffic to your affiliate offer.

There are complete instructions available for Blogger, Blogspot, Live, and the various web site building services, so I won't go into detail about how to place HTML code, it is already covered and pretty easy to find "How to" information. The questions that arise among new affiliate marketers is where to place banners and how to place text links?

Banners should be placed in a conspicuous place on your page (usually upper left, or upper right) so that they get noticed easily by the people that visit your site. However, people have grown accustomed to ignoring most banners and I have found that text links work better for me.

You can place text links anywhere inside the content of your page, which makes them easier to work with than banners, and you will usually get a better Click Through Rate with text links. In case you hadn't noticed, I often use hyperlinks instead of typing the actual affiliate link into my content. You can turn any text into a hyperlink and this makes things much easier, especially when writing a blog post, or even into the text that I am writing right Now. I simply choose the text I want to make a link out of and add a hyperlink to it.

Simply "select" the text you would like to hyperlink and Click the Icon that usually looks like a world with a chain-link in front of it. A box will come up that will allow you to put your affiliate link into and will usually have a check box asking if you would like it to open a new window.

I don't suggest placing your affiliate code where it is directly visible to your visitor. But if you must place you code directly into a page or post, be sure to use a utility such as tinyurl.com or bit.ly. Free, very easy to use and much cleaner looking than raw links. Here is why:

Not only does the smaller code look more pleasing, but it also hides the fact that it is an affiliate link. Some people will not click on an affiliate link, or they may go directly to vmcsat to make their purchase, which means that you lose the sale. Hiding your affiliate link code also insures that it cannot be pirated by scam-artists and replaced with their own affiliate code. I will probably get into more about this later.

I just got an email that MySpace now has a Local Listing Service (Social Media & Local Listings are HOT right now, so use them). MySpace is offering Local Listings along with Ratings, Reviews, etc... Which should get you more exposure for your Biz or Biz Opportunity (I do not know if they will be charging for their Local Listings). I haven't had time to look into it yet, but it seems like it would be a great place to have a listing. Let me know if you check it out before I get a chance to... (Local & Social Media mixed together should get good results).

You can use FREE Local Business Listings such as Yelowpages.com, Merchantcircle.com and Google.com/lbc to add Free listings of your Dish Biz (Dish Network & VMC Satellite) or any other Affilaite Biz you would market as a "brick and mortar" type business. There are some slight restrictions on some sites for Free Listings, but MerchantCircle and Google.com/lbc are a MUST USE if you ask me. Great Advertising for No Charge (to get more traffic to your Blog, Landing Page or Affiliate site). You can also find other Free directory listings Online; Simply Search for "Free Directories" or "Free Listing" to find other resources (like HotFrog). To save yourself some time,  It is best to build a "profile" of your business, in a word processor like MS Word or Word Perfect, that you can Cut and Paste to each directory or listing service.

Tip: Keep your keywords consistent through all of your listings unless you are "Targeting" your Local listings.
